Other states—including Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas—have ALSO cooked up various, futile “cleanups” to address the absolute MESS they created with their bans. People are DYING, but sure, making docs consult an ideological checklist before they provide care is totes gonna solve the prob.

REMINDER: Abortion bans CANNOT BE FIXED with “exceptions” or infinite training on those exceptions. There are no amount of carveouts to cover all the ways pregnancy can go awry. Bans are intimidation tools that paralyze real-time emergency care. So any attempts at “clarifying” them is just a PR makeover for a deadly policy. Nice try, assholes.

The Headline: Texas AG Paxton Declares Therapists Affirming Trans Youth To Be Illegal And Child Abuse

🛋️Anti-Abortion Ghoul Just Outlawed Mental Healthcare for Trans Kids in Texas
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton now says mental health professionals ALSO fall under the state’s ban on gender affirming care for minors. So the Lord Farquad of family planning, who has been on a crusade to arrest doctors for providing abortion, is now targeting THERAPISTS for providing care to trans kids.

👮‍♀️Healthcare, But Make it Criminal
Ken has a habit of making healthcare for minors a crime. Take a minor to an abortion? That’s abortion trafficking. Take a trans kid to therapy? Child abuse. The CEO of the Snitch State is also requiring that you report anyone you know for violating his new declaration of war against CHILDREN.

Paxton claims healthcare professionals are indoctrinating kids while he pushes literal CONVERSION therapy and religious fake clinics as a substitute for ACTUAL MEDICAL CARE. The child abuse is coming from inside the house, my (small, pathetic) man.

The Headline: Democrats highlight veterans’ personal stories as they push Congress to roll back VA abortion ban

🪖A WAR ON TWO FRONT BOTTOMS
While the president sends troops to the Middle East to fight for oil and Christian Nationalism, conservatives at home are doing everything in their disgusting, slimy power to stop veterans from being able to access abortions.

🫡THANK YOU FOR YOUR CERVIX
A near-total abortion ban is now in effect at the Department of Veterans Affairs, allowing care only if a VA physician certifies it’s necessary to save the pregnant veteran’s life. The ban was reinstated in December 2025, scrapping a 2022 policy that allowed abortion counseling and limited services in cases of rape, incest, or threats to life or health.

👛WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE
This ban puts veterans at risk by tying doctors’ hands and blocking appropriate reproductive care — especially when nearly half of the 460,000 women veterans of reproductive age who rely on the VA live in states with abortion restrictions. There is currently a Congressional Review Act resolution to overturn it. Funny how “thank you for your service” turns into “good luck with that miscarriage” the second reproductive health is involved.
