This week, Tennessee Rep. Monty Fritts went on a Christian nationalist podcast and casually called for state-sanctioned executions of parents or doctors who provide access to abortion or gender-affirming care. Yup! The “pro-life” legislator wants MORE death penalty—and he says it’s Bible-approved! ’Cuz nothing says Christ like murdering people for providing healthcare.
You would be SHOCKED to learn this raging zealot co-sponsored a bill that allows clerks to refuse to solemnize any marriage they don’t like—for example, the GAY ones.
Anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ+ politics always go hand in hand. They don’t want anyone having autonomy over their bodies or lives. And they’re perfectly willing to kill people to make that clear.

Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk’s “anti-cancel culture” frat whose main gig was screaming “free speech on campus!” has successfully pressured Texas Tech to CANCEL a talk by a retired physician who provided third-trimester abortions. According to TPUSA, abortion is illegal in Texas, so a government-funded building couldn’t possibly host a TALK that even touches on it. Truly groundbreaking logic from people who think ACTUAL MURDERERS (aka Kyle Rittenhouse) deserve college lecture tours.
