Bristol is a town split straight down the middle, and that line is the difference between legal abortion and a total ban. When Tennessee outlawed abortion, the city’s only clinic moved less than a mile into Virginia, becoming the closest place for safe, legal care for millions of Southerners.

The Headline: Kentucky Police Ignore State Law to Arrest Woman for Allegedly Self-Managing Abortion

🚨Woman Charged With MURDER for Self-Managed Abortion
A Kentucky woman allegedly took abortion medication and buried the fetal remains in her backyard. Now she’s charged with fetal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence. All BULLSHIT charges we’ve seen before when states want to throw people in jail for managing their own abortions. New year, same conception cop behavior.

🤡Arrest First, Find Crime Later
YOU KNOW HOW THE COPS FOUND OUT? The healthcare providers she went to for follow-up reported her because she confided in them—you know, like you do with YOUR DOCTOR. AND WORSE—there was nothing to TURN HER IN FOR. A person is allowed to take abortion pills in Kentucky. The fetal homicide law EXPLICITLY exempts pregnant people. And there are NO legal standards for how to dispose of fetal remains. So, once again, cops are just jailing people off anti-abortion vibes. Cool!

🖕Inhumanity of “Personhood Laws”
These bitches have been out here for YEARS trying to pass laws that establish fetuses as full-blown people. Cuz if fetus=person then abortion=homicide. Every time someone gets arrested for murder for abortion (which has happened 16 times since 2022), we inch closer and closer to that hellish reality. Let’s hope this woman sues Kentucky into bourbon-soaked oblivion.
