  The tea is: Florida’s Governor DeTritus diverted more than $35 MILLION away from child welfare and Medicaid to TV ads spewing straight garbage propaganda to defeat two 2024 amendments that aimed to protect abortion and cannabis rights. That’s right—the ones that Floridians made crystal freaking clear they wanted to pass but somehow still didn’t make the cut.

• 💸Voter Suppression, But Make It Taxpayer-Funded
  Instead of actually listening to voters and letting Floridians vote for what they WANT, DeSantis tapped into his inner Florida Scammer Man and used taxpayers’ money to play puppet master. Because nothing screams “pro-life” like swiping MILLIONS from the Department of Children and Families AND healthcare.

• ⚠️The Bottom Line
  How is anyone supposed to trust governors and lawmakers if this human chamber pot is literally STEALING millions to fight the will of voters? How are we supposed to have a Sunshine State without giving voters what they want? AKA bodily autonomy and some DAMN WEED. The evil is in the room with us and its name is Ron Desantis.

The Headline: Abortion Patients Most Often Rely On Independent Clinics, But More Closed in 2025, Report Shows

TLDR:

• 🚪When Indie Clinics Close, Everyone Loses
  Independent clinics are the undisputed queens of abortion access. They provide the MAJORITY of abortions in the US. 58% to be exact. And they do it with WAY fewer resources than the big names. Their thanks for all this is relentless legislative attacks, funding cuts, harassment, and red tape designed to choke them out forever.

  23 indie clinics closed this year alone. Since Dobbs, the number is 100. Right now, Planned Parenthood is fighting the government’s attempt to completely defund them, but if that goes through, indie clinics will have to serve WAY more patients with the same crumbs.

The Headline: Europe votes to expand abortion access in historic ballot

TLDR:

• 🍾Victory in the EU! Abortion Rights For All!
  This week, the European Parliament voted ¡Claro que sí! (aka HELL YES) on a plan that would let people in countries that restrict abortion get one in another EU country FOR FREE. NADA. ZERO euros. The final vote will be in March when the European Commission decides whether or not to seal the deal.

• 🛫State of the European Union
  The EU is a patchwork of different abortion laws. With this proposal, people living under brutal abortion bans in places like Poland and Malta will be able to get care in countries that respect abortion for what it is: ESSENTIAL HEALTHCARE.

  The citizen-led initiative didn’t pass by magic, it was the muscle of the repro warriors at My Voice My Choice.
