The cuntservatives in Congress are plotting to sneak a NATIONWIDE abortion ban into health insurance rules. Their Trojan Horse vessel of choice? The Hyde Amendment, AKA the act that has been keeping federal funds from covering most abortions since 1977.What Are They Plotting?
Their dirty little scheme includes expanding the scope of the Hyde Amendment to weasel their way into getting their grimy hands onto the Affordable Care Act marketplace. Their goal? That even in states where abortion is LEGAL and REQUIRES health insurance to cover abortions, this federal law would still restrict you from accessing coverage. YUP. They want you paying premiums for care you literally CAN’T use.The Stakes
The ongoing attacks on reproductive healthcare are a domino effect. Abortions, IVF, birth control — all of these can be ripped off the menu even if you can drop hundreds or thousands out-of-pocket, regardless of state laws and protections. This isn’t health policy, this is federal harm.

Government policy says that detainees should not be kept unless there are “extraordinary circumstances,” AKA if someone is a terrorist threat. It’s very fucking clear: To this admin, every pregnant body is a national security risk that needs to be degraded, abused, and controlled.
